Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, submitting, and tracking FIFRA pesticide registration applications, amendments, and notifications with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state regulatory agencies.
  • Support the development and review of product labels, ensuring compliance with FIFRA labeling requirements and EPA guidance.

  • Conduct regulatory research to monitor EPA policy updates, PR Notices, guidance documents, and state-level regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including R&D, product stewardship, quality, and marketing—to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into product development and commercialization.
  • Assist in responding to EPA or state agency data requests, deficiency letters, and compliance inquiries.
  • Support the preparation of annual reports, production reports, and other required submissions under FIFRA.
  • Help maintain internal regulatory databases and tracking tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date compliance information.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Approximately 1 year of hands-on experience working with FIFRA-regulated products, pesticide registration processes, or EPA regulatory submissions.
  • Basic understanding of FIFRA regulations, EPA registration pathways, and pesticide labeling requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with EPA’s Pesticide Submission Portal (PSP) or other regulatory submission systems.
  • Familiarity with state pesticide registration processes.
  • Exposure to regulatory data evaluation, toxicology, or environmental fate data.
