Regional Clinical Trial Manager

As a Regional Clinical Trial Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of clinical trials within your designated region, ensuring compliance with protocols, ICH GCP, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with CRO partners, study vendors, and cross-functional team members to ensure successful trial execution, leading activities that promote quality, consistency, and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trials in LATAM (Brazil and Argentina), overseeing CRO vendors and other study vendors.
• Ensure timely shipments of vendor supplies to LATAM sites, including Central Lab kits.
• Manage study budgets, timelines, and metrics, ensuring adherence.
• Oversee Study Start-Up activities, site selection, activation timelines, and contract negotiations.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for regional and site-related issues.
• Participate in weekly meetings with CRO partners and study vendors, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
• Review study-related clinical plans and documents.
• Perform quality and monitoring oversight activities, ensuring audit-ready condition of clinical trial documentation.
• Conduct Monitoring Oversight visits to assess compliance, as required.
• Oversee participant recruitment and retention strategies.
• Coordinate regulatory and ethics committee submission activities, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Assist with Investigator and Site Initiation visits.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical study management.
• Hands-on experience managing studies in LATAM.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a related life science discipline is preferred.
• Operational experience managing at least two studies as a regional CTM for LATAM.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Brazil.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time to LATAM.

Work Environment

This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates located on the east coast. The position requires the ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, particularly to Brazil and Argentina.

This is a Contract position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
