Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role involves performing high-quality radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Verify patient identity and review medical history prior to imaging.
• Ensure proper documentation and upload images to the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating imaging procedures as needed.

Essential Skills

• Active certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• State licensure as required.
• Proficiency in radiographic techniques and patient positioning.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with EMR systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a busy diagnostic imaging department within a healthcare facility. The position opened due to increased patient volume and demand for imaging services. The role involves direct patient interaction and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging results.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Trenton,NJ.
