Job Title: RF Systems Engineer
Job Description
Design radio communication systems for human spaceflight modules, calculate RF link budgets, and analyze system performance. Coordinate integration of communication components with spacecraft and ground hardware/software. Lead functional and integration testing of radio communication components and perform Radio Frequency interference and compatibility analysis for communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop radio communication systems for human spaceflight modules.
- Calculate RF link budgets and analyze system performance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinate the integration of communication components with both spacecraft and ground hardware/software.
- Lead functional and integration testing of radio communication components.
- Perform Radio Frequency interference and compatibility analysis.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in RF and radio frequency systems.
- Experience in radio system integration.
- Expertise with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
- 7 years in radio systems design and testing.
- Experience with data protocols.
- Aerospace experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or RF Design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in RF integration and testing.
- Experience with aerospace and spaceflight projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
