Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs using advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Collaborate with the CMM Programming team to ensure product and process compliance.
- Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by screening and documenting non-conformances.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and implement precise measurement systems.
- Utilize a variety of mechanical inspection tools (microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, etc.) to verify part quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing operations OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in inspection processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or quality within an industrial environment.
- CMM programming experience, preferably with Zeiss machines.
- Aerospace industry experience and familiarity with aerospace quality standards.
- Advanced knowledge of ASME Y14.5-1994 and ASME Y14.5-2018.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Experience inspecting parts for conformance using mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, etc.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
