Quality Lab Manager

Urgent hiring for "Quality Manager" in San Angelo, TX

Job Description:

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Develop, update, and oversee quality procedures (SOPs, deviations, CAPAs, complaints).
• Lead internal and external audits; manage follow‑up actions and inspection readiness.
• Serve as the primary contact for auditors, inspectors, and customer quality inquiries.
• Oversee all QC laboratory testing for raw materials, in‑process samples, finished goods, and stability programs.
• Establish, validate, transfer, and maintain analytical methods and specifications.
• Ensure data integrity, documentation accuracy, and audit‑ready laboratory practices.
• Manage calibration, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as; Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline is required.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) is a plus.
• 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related role in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of USDA regulations, GMP and quality systems.

This is a Contract position based out of San Angelo, TX.

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
