Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)

Description

This role is responsible for supporting Quality Control operations by performing inspections, verifications, and compliance activities across multiple departments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting line clearances and inspection activities for production areas
• Performing visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Verifying labeling, inserts, and packaging components
• Supporting environmental and equipment monitoring (temperature, controlled environments, etc.)
• Documenting results and identifying trends or quality issues
• Initiating non-conforming material reports (NCMRs) and change orders as needed
• Following SOPs and ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards
• Communicating quality concerns, deviations, or failures to leadership
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system
• Assisting with document control and updates as needed

Minimum 1 year of cGMP experience in a regulated production or lab environment

This is a Contract position based out of San Marcos, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
