Job Title: Quality Specialist
Responsibilities
- Lead PPAP submissions following the AIAG standard 18-element framework.
- Manage documentation such as Design Records, Engineering Change Documentation, and Customer Engineering Approval.
- Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA analyses, and create Process Flow Diagrams and Control Plans.
- Perform Measurement System Analysis and evaluate Dimensional Results.
- Coordinate PPAP submission levels, typically at Level 3 for new parts or significant changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and lab teams to gather and compile required documentation.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with customer specifications.
- Prepare and submit complete PPAP packages, including the Part Submission Warrant (PSW).
- Act as the liaison with customer quality and engineering teams, addressing inquiries and facilitating on-site reviews as necessary.
Essential Skills
• 3 years of direct experience within quality OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering and related Quality Engineering co-op/internship experience
• Solid understanding of at least 1 of the following key quality tools: DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans
• Familiarity with PPAP standards and documentation.
• Strong documentation skills—able to manage complex, multi–document packages accurately and efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting process capability data (e.g., CpK) and assessing risk
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
