Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician
Join our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician responsible for ensuring the integrity of in-process and finished products for powder coatings. You will conduct various tests, including spray panels, gloss checks, and color testing, to maintain the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control tests on in-process and finished coatings.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for out-of-spec products.
- Confirm the quality of finished products for final release.
- Exercise stop authority when nonconformance is detected.
- Accurately enter test results into the SAP system.
Essential Skills
- Quality control experience, especially in paints, coatings, chemicals, inks, etc.
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and handling nonconforming products.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to make decisions and take ownership in quality control processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 years of experience working within a chemical environmental performing quality testing.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree would be a plus.
- Abilty to make a decisions on products and be able to stop production if product is out of specification.
Work Environment
You will work primarily in the Quality Control lab with occasional trips to the production floor to collect samples. This position operates on the 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. The dress code is casual with a lab coat provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
