Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Quality Control Manager overseeing a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project. This exciting role involves managing a 13,000 square foot new construction project that includes working directly with steel and concrete. As a key player, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality control for a $6 million Design-Bid-Build construction project.
- Manage construction activities involving steel and concrete.
- Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
- Implement safety standards in accordance with OSHA30.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are met.
Essential Skills
- 7 years of Quality Control experience on relevant construction projects.
- Active CQM certification.
- OSHA30 certification.
- Experience in new construction projects involving steel and concrete.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with safety standards and first aid procedures.
- Knowledge of ECATTS systems.
Work Environment
The work environment is set in a government NAVFAC at Norfolk Naval. The position requires comfort with working outdoors and adapting to the unique conditions of a naval base. The role involves collaboration with joint ventures and working in a team-focused atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $51.00/hr.
