Quality Control Laboratory Technician

As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing QC-related communications. Your role will include generating technical data sheets, preparing Certificates of Analysis (COAs), responding to customer inquiries, and routing technical inquiries to the appropriate internal stakeholders. You will provide administrative and operational support to enable lab technicians to focus on core testing activities, and assist with change-of-specification notifications and related documentation.

• Review and manage QC-related email communications.
• Generate and distribute technical data sheets.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Route technical or non-QC inquiries to appropriate internal stakeholders for resolution.
• Provide administrative and operational QC support.
• Pull and organize retain samples for the QC team.
• Locate lots and retrieve vials from storage drawers.
• Set up retain samples in advance for sensory evaluation.
• Compare sample odors to prior lots, sensory evaluation experience a plus.
• Assist with change-of-specification notifications and related documentation.
• Support QC data review workflows; team leads will review and approve data as required.
• File, organize, and archive vials and retain samples in accordance with QC protocols.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a professional laboratory environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Sensory evaluation or fragrance evaluation experience is a plus.
• Experience as a flavor or fragrance QC technician is beneficial but not required.
• Material handling experience.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Flexibility on Saturdays is requested, with the option to work 4-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This is a temporary position expected to run through April and into early May 2026. The work environment includes a sample lab/office connected to a warehouse and requires comfort with the strong smells of raw materials.

This is a Contract position based out of Norwood, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Norwood,NJ.
