Job Description
This role involves creating working lab solutions, logging and documenting chemical usage, and analyzing samples to provide detailed information on compounds. The analyst will interpret data, report issues, and perform lab batching, while collaborating closely with R&D and quality management teams.
Responsibilities
- Create working lab solutions using established procedures.
- Log incoming chemicals and document their usage and disposal using established procedures.
- Interpret data and adhere to strict guidelines, instrumentation, and software.
- Analyze samples from various sources using analytical techniques and instrumentation.
- Interpret and report issues related to batching and raw chemicals.
- Perform lab batching for out-of-specification batches, upscaling calculations, weighing, and measuring chemicals.
- Determine homogeneity of bulk on solubility checks.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality management to communicate information about R&D batches.
- Report GMP issues to management.
- Experience in laboratory quality control.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of chemistry and lab procedures.
- Titration experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
- If no degree, at least 1 years of laboratory experience is required.
The role requires working in a clean lab environment with new equipment, standing most of the day, and collecting samples from production areas.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
