Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance Auditor I to support our quality operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and laboratory processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
• Conduct batch record reviews and product release activities for site-manufactured materials.
• Prepare documentation for samples submitted to internal and external quality control laboratories.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of internal audits.
• Perform audits of incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct investigations into product quality complaints, non-conformance events, and manufacturing deviations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in operations, engineering, maintenance, safety, and supply chain to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of quality through thorough investigations and actionable solutions.
• Document investigation findings in detailed, timely reports using internal quality systems.
• Initiate and manage service requests related to non-conformance issues.
• Generate and manage quality documentation for operational activities.
• Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.
• Support document retention and archival processes.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality assurance, quality auditing, and quality specialist roles (1-4 years).
• Proficiency in quality control, audit, batch record review, and document control.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and inspection processes.
• Experience with CAPA, SOPs, and quality checks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Technical writing experience is highly valued.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (preferred), Minimum High School Diploma Required.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in chemistry or biology is advantageous.
