- Schedule and coordinate required hold points with the Installation Manager, project team members, and client representatives, as applicable.
- Provide written advance notice to the client prior to each hold point and ensure all notifications follow project procedures.

- Conduct on‑site field inspections to verify that installation work complies with project requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Perform visual inspections of tolling hardware and related components upon delivery and during installation, including antennas, cameras, readers, controllers, mounting hardware, cabinets, and cabling.

- Maintain accurate, organized, and timely quality records in accordance with project quality management requirements.
- Support the Project Quality Manager (PQM) in maintaining the non‑conformance log and initiating Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when discrepancies are identified.
- Maintain regular communication with the installation crew and Project Quality Manager to stay informed about upcoming work activities and inspection needs.
- Coordinate with client field personnel in support of their independent quality validation and verification activities.
- Travel to toll point locations throughout the project area as required to perform inspections and support field work.

- Ability to work on active highway corridors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work night and weekend hours when required based on lane closure schedules.
- Successful completion of required site access and safety requirements prior to performing field work.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting in an electrical or electronic environment.
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and service AC and DC electronic and electrical equipment.
- Experience working with communication equipment and related field hardware.
- Proficiency using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronics, hardware, and field service issues.
- Ability to perform repair, service, and preventive maintenance on electronic and electrical systems.

- Comfort working both independently in the field and collaboratively with cross‑functional project teams.
- Strong verbal communication skills for coordinating with installation crews, project leadership, and client field personnel.
This role is primarily based on site, with the expectation that the Quality Assurance Inspector reports to the project office each workday and regularly travels to field locations along active highway corridors. Work is performed in a mix of office and outdoor environments, including tolling points and roadside installations, where conditions can vary with weather and traffic patterns. Night and weekend work may be required to align with lane closure schedules and minimize traffic impacts. The position involves hands‑on interaction with tolling hardware and related electronic and electrical equipment, including antennas, cameras, readers, controllers, mounting hardware, cabinets, and cabling, as well as the use of diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and spectrum analyzers. Field work requires strict adherence to safety protocols and site access requirements. When working in the field, steel‑toe boots, jeans, and sweatshirts are acceptable attire, reflecting a practical, safety‑focused dress code suitable for outdoor and roadside environments.
