Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the CAPA Review Board, facilitating regular meetings and providing Quality Assurance and Technical insight. This role involves the initiation of CAPA records within the electronic document control system, evaluating risks with a focus on customer and patient safety, and implementing immediate actions when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate CAPA Review Board meetings, providing technical insights.
- Initiate CAPA records within the electronic document control system.
- Evaluate applicable risks, considering customer and patient safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Determine and implement immediate actions upon CAPA initiation when required.
- Lead and support root cause investigation and determination, examining all systemic causes.
- Execute action plans related to open CAPAs, ensuring comprehensive follow-through.
- Work cross-functionally to assign and complete actions that evaluate the effectiveness of CAPA processes, preventing recurrence.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to support a thorough and compliant CAPA process.
- 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Proficient in CAPA, NCR, and QA processes
- Expertise in root cause analysis and CAPA procedures
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards
- Experience with vision systems is beneficial
- High School diploma or equivalent required
The role involves working both in an office and manufacturing setting. The position follows a first shift schedule.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $63.00/hr.
