This role requires individuals with hands-on experience administering clinical rating scales who can work independently in a fast-paced research environment.

The Psychometric Rater will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical trial data by conducting structured assessments and supporting multiple study protocols simultaneously.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing study-related activities

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required (PhD preferred) in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, or a related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience administering clinical rating scales in a clinical research setting

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in psychiatric clinical trials (with potential exposure to neuro-related studies)
  • Licensure such as LCSW (psychiatric focus) is a plus
  • Prior experience working across multiple protocols simultaneously

Disqualifying Backgrounds

  • Experience limited to educational research (without clinical research exposure)
  • No prior hands-on experience administering clinical rating scales
  • Clinical research experience without rater responsibilities

Work Schedule & Structure

  • St. Louis: Immediate full-time need (40 hours/week)
  • Atlanta: Initially 20 hours/week, expected to ramp quickly to full-time
  • Standard business hours; Saturday work is extremely rare
