About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects based out of Danbury, CT. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented leader who excels at coordinating high‑stakes builds, navigating technical requirements, and driving projects to successful completion.
What You’ll Lead
- Full lifecycle management of construction projects from planning through closeout
- Development and oversight of project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
- Coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align expectations
- Ensuring full compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality benchmarks
- Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies to maintain timelines and budget goals
- Preparing and delivering clear project updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Quickly resolving project challenges that arise on‑site or during planning
- Promoting strong teamwork and fostering a positive work environment
- Conducting ongoing site visits to ensure alignment with specifications and safety requirements
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
- Managing procurement to ensure efficient and cost‑effective material and equipment acquisition
- Leading project meetings and driving communication across all teams
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5 years of experience managing commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor construction projects
- Strong track record of delivering large‑scale builds successfully
- Deep knowledge of construction processes, materials, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Ability to excel under pressure while managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
Preferred Experience
- PMP or similar certification
- Knowledge of sustainable construction or LEED certifications
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, take‑offs, and change orders
- Software experience in MS Project, Procore, and Sage
- Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, clean rooms, biopharma, or similar technical builds
- Familiarity with projects from $500k to $20M, especially those in the $3M–$5M range

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
