Project Manager

We are a growing specialty contractor focusing on wood framing and building envelope solutions for various construction projects, including multifamily, student housing, senior living, hospitality, and commercial buildings throughout the Northeast. As we continue to expand, we seek an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from award through project completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Lead project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and closeout packages.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Track procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and general contractors to resolve project issues.
• Conduct regular project reviews and jobsite visits to monitor progress and mitigate project risks.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting through project management software platforms.
• Promote and enforce safety standards and company policies across all projects.

• 3 years of Project Management experience in construction required 5 years preferred.
• Experience managing multifamily, student housing, senior living, mixed-use, or commercial projects.
• Wood-frame construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• Experience working for a framing contractor, carpentry contractor, or specialty subcontractor.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
• Direct wood-frame construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The work environment consists of onsite office work with regular site visits as needed. The role offers exposure to large-scale multifamily, student housing, hospitality, and wood-frame projects. The position includes a competitive compensation package with vehicle allowance and fuel reimbursement, and the opportunity to work closely with nationally recognized general contractors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, CT.

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $69.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Newtown,CT.
