Project Manager

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to work directly with customers to understand their technical goals, constraints, and system requirements. You will translate customer needs into clear technical specifications for engineering execution and define and maintain system-level requirements across firmware, hardware, and validation activities. In this role, you will coordinate technical work across internal engineering disciplines to ensure strong delivery, lead project communication and alignment between customer teams and internal engineers, support project planning, milestone development, prioritization, and technical reviews, and identify technical risks while helping teams navigate them effectively. You will also contribute to improving internal delivery processes to create more repeatable project execution systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical goals, constraints, and system requirements by working directly with customers.
• Translate customer needs into technical specifications for engineering execution.
• Define and maintain system-level requirements across firmware, hardware, and validation activities.
• Coordinate technical work across engineering disciplines for strong delivery.
• Lead project communication and alignment between customer teams and internal engineers.
• Support project planning, milestone development, prioritization, and technical reviews.
• Identify technical risks and assist teams in navigating them effectively.
• Improve internal delivery processes for more repeatable project execution systems.

• Strong understanding of embedded hardware and firmware.
• 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical or Software Engineering.

• PMP certification.
• Master's Degree.
• Experience with Wrike.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $57.69/hr.
