Overview:
We are currently hiring Project Manager Assistants for long term, multi year contracts in Newport News, VA.
Description:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship.
- BS Degree preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- High Pace environment requiring ability to work on own to resolve issues to support ultimate creation of purchase requisitions.
- Each day encounters unique challenges requiring problem solving skills with engineering, planning and program.
- Experience in SAP a plus.
Preferred:
- Project Management.
- Purchase Requisition creation and updating ECD’s with vendors.
Additional Information:
- 3 openings available.
- 1st shift, Monday-Friday.
- Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr based on experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
