Job Title: Project Management Consultant – Electrical Infrastructure
Overview
The Project Management Consultant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical infrastructure and grid-related projects, including transmission, substation, and compliance-driven initiatives. This role is well suited for early-career to mid-level professionals with an electrical engineering experience or equivalent utility industry experience who are seeking to grow within large-scale utility or energy programs.
The consultant will work closely with engineering teams, operations vendors, and compliance stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with regulatory and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project execution across electrical transmission, substation, and grid compliance programs
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, milestones, and action items using MS Project and/or Smartsheet
- Coordinate with engineering, operations vendors, and compliance stakeholders to support project delivery
- Monitor project risks, issues, costs, and deliverables; assist with change management activities
- Prepare project status reports, meeting notes, and supporting documentation
- Participate in project meetings and site visits as required
Required Skills

Qualifications
- 0–5 years of experience in project management, engineering support, or utility/energy-related projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent power/utility industry experience
- Exposure to grid compliance programs, regulated utilities, or power infrastructure projects (transmission lines, substations, or distribution systems)
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting utility or NERC-related projects
- Field experience with substations or transmission assets
- Consulting or contract-based project experience
This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
