Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Project Engineer in the Blacksburg, Virginia area with foundation in commercial construction. The Project Engineer will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and all project team members to form an effective management team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project alignment and success.
- Coordinate with all members of the project team to form a cohesive management team.
- Manage and oversee project engineering tasks in a commercial construction setting.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a commercial construction Project Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field, OR two (2) years of commercial construction experience.
- Proficient in project management and construction management principles.
- Mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Proficiency in project coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA training preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and architectural drawings.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and various scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Phoenix).

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blacksburg, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
