Job Title: Project Engineer
Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer operates as an onsite assistant to the Project Manager, focusing on earthwork and utilities. This role involves coordinating with clients, general contractors, and other subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Experience in construction and heavy civil industry.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Procore experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with construction management and civil construction.
- Proficiency in handling RFIs (Requests for Information).
Work Environment
The role is based in an onsite job trailer, requiring the management of crews and providing daily work progress updates.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
