What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer III position at Actalent?
We are hiring for a Project Engineer III! This position is a key member of the Engineering team responsible for design and coordination of projects. This role involves defining and maintaining design timelines and deliverables, producing construction documents in Revit, coordinating and integrating engineering elements into design for client review and approval, and coordinating design with other disciplines and/or external design groups.
Responsibilities Include:
- Produce detailed construction documents
- Creates solutions based on customer requirements, while minimizing design lead time and cost by leveraging company standard materials and processes
- Develops and manages design deliverables & schedule, collaborate with and coordinate across a variety of teams for project activities.
- Reviews and approves deliverables from external design firms.
- Leads client interactions such as defining user requirements, conducting design reviews, managing RFIs & engineering change orders.
- Maintains collaborative relationship with production for improving manufacturability, providing technical support and quality conformance assistance.
- Participates in the continuous improvement effortsEnsures compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, products, and areas.
- Tracks and manages engineering documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Ensures data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret regulations, guidance documents, technical manuals, specifications, read and interpret drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of building code compliance, USP 797/800 and cGMPs strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of MEP, A&S, and/or modular design required.
- Familiar knowledge of cleanroom components, processes, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, organization, planning, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Highly communicative and able to manage multiple modes of communication.
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Ability to identify risk and flag concerns to management.
This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
