Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to support project planning and execution. The successful candidate will assist in tracking project scope, schedules, and key milestones using tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or Primavera. This role involves coordination with internal teams to ensure timely completion of design, procurement, manufacturing, and testing activities, while maintaining project plans and trackers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, QA/QC, and Dispatch teams to monitor progress and follow up on open tasks.
• Support procurement tracking for customer-specific bought-out items and accessories.
• Assist the Senior Project Manager with documentation tracking, approvals, inspections, and dispatch coordination.
• Facilitate communication with customers by sharing updates, responding to routine queries, and escalating issues when required.
• Coordinate with project administration teams to support timely submission of invoices as per contractual milestones.
• Track outstanding invoices and flag delays for review.
• Prepare and coordinate shipment documentation.
• Support dispatch of accessories and site-specific materials in coordination with logistics teams.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, commercial records, engineering drawings, document transmittals, approvals, inspection reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of basic project status reports.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, operations, or a related role (internship experience welcome).
• Basic understanding of project management concepts and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to MS Project, Primavera, or ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, project controls, operations, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in documentation, engineering, or equivalent.
• APM Project Management certification.
• Experience in coordinating schedules.
• Exposure to Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.

Work Environment

The preferred candidate would be based in or near Longmont, CO, but remote work is a possibility. The position requires a commitment to a Monday through Friday schedule in the Eastern Time Zone, with the possibility of up to 10% travel, including potential trips to Canada to visit customer locations.

This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
