Project Architect

The Project Architect is responsible for planning and developing projects of various sizes and complexities. This role involves executing and coordinating project production both internally and in collaboration with other disciplines and sub-consultants. The Project Architect may supervise a small team of architects and designers, applying sound and diverse architectural principles and practices across a range of assignments. The individual will act independently on architectural methods and complexities and may serve as a Project Manager on certain projects. This position requires the preparation of proposals and contracts for mid-sized projects and involves oversight of billing and fee management. The Project Architect will coordinate with the Accounting team on payments and outstanding invoices, liaise with clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, and maintain high client satisfaction.

• Plan and develop projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Execute and coordinate project production internally and with sub-consultants.
• Supervise a small team of architects and designers when necessary.
• Act independently regarding architectural methods and complexities.
• Serve as a Project Manager on designated projects.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for mid-sized projects.
• Coordinate billing and fee management, and collaborate with the Accounting team on payments and invoices.
• Liaise with clients to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and satisfactory project completion.
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate staff assignments on projects.
• Assist with QA/QC reviews and ensure projects adhere to building codes and standards.
• Represent team interests and concerns, working with leadership to address and resolve issues.

• Proficiency in Revit
• Strong understanding of architectural design and schematic design
• Knowledge of building codes and construction document processes
• Experience in construction drawings

• Registered Architect preferred
• Prior experience in the healthcare space preferred
• Knowledge in retail and interior architecture

This is a hybrid role based out of an office in downtown St. Louis. The position requires working in the office three days per week, with hybrid work available for the other two days. Some travel to project sites may be necessary. The role demands a professional attire suitable for client meetings and site visits.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $41.00/hr.
