What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Administrator position at Actalent?
As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and processing project submittals, RFIs, and close-out documentation. You will also organize drawings, specifications, and bid documentation for active and upcoming projects. Attending and documenting weekly construction meetings will be part of your routine, as well as assisting with quantity take-offs, pricing, and tracking of change orders and new work scopes. Supporting procurement of construction materials and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will solicit vendor pricing, assist with bid preparation, and support contract documentation under the guidance of Project Managers and General Managers. Maintaining organized project files and ensuring compliance with internal documentation standards is crucial. Regular status updates on project progress and administrative milestones will be expected.

- Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to download and edit PDFs from vendors.
- Experience with document control and project coordination.
- Familiarity with data entry skills, change orders, RFIs, submittals, purchasing, and ERP systems.
- Experience with Procore.
- ERP experience.
- Knowledge of purchasing, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
The position is onsite with working hours from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility to work from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $28.85/hr.
