Job Description: Programmer
Join our team as a Programmer working in a state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in the manufacturing lab, collaborating closely with the engineering team to refine and optimize manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and program the EDM machine, specifically the FG Cut 350 model.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to receive and process parts once all initial processing is completed.
- Optimize and iron out the manufacturing process for released parts.
- Assist with the inspection of parts, including loading onto the CMM and performing hands-on inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and plug gauges.
- Engage in offline programming of the EDM machine.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in EDM machine programming and operation.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong experience in machining.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T principles.
This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
