Production Assistant Manager

Job Title: Production AssistantJob Description

The Production Assistant collaborates with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and gather data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products, ensuring effective operations and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity with production specifications and resolve operational problems.
• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures to eliminate operating problems and enhance product quality and job safety.
• Revise production schedules and priorities in response to equipment failures or operational issues.
• Support and meet all ISO14001 and IATF responsibilities and requirements.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
• Consult with engineering personnel regarding modifications to machines and equipment to improve production and product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in production, operation, project management, and operations management.
• Experience in budgeting and understanding of financial statements.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies and process improvement programs.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of management experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Prior production experience is preferred.
  
  

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced injection mold/assembly facility focused on automotive products, primarily for Toyota.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
