Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our semiconductor processing team. The role involves precise and repeatable execution of semiconductor wafer processing tasks in areas such as photolithography, etching, thin films, and metals deposition. The technician will handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components while maintaining detailed records of process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose issues, and support corrective actions to enhance yield, quality, and throughput.
Responsibilities
- Perform semiconductor wafer processing tasks in photolithography, etching, thin films, and metals deposition with precision and repeatability.
- Handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components safely and efficiently.
- Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose process issues, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine processing techniques, tool recipes, and maintenance schedules for both new and existing products.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Top Skills to be Considered
- 4 years of experiecne with Semiconductor and and wafer fabrication
- Experience etching, thin films and Metals desposition
- Experience with Photolithography
- Must have cleanroom experience
Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-growing company setting within a cleanroom facility, requiring adherence to high safety and cleanliness standards. The role may require additional working hours depending on project demands. Employees are expected to dress in cleanroom attire to maintain the integrity of the work area.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
