The Process Engineer will support production processes and maintain documentation to ensure that parts meet the quality expectations of customers.
Responsibilities- Assist with scheduling and preparing products for assembly.
- Lead process improvement projects and troubleshoot product issues.
- Document engineering processes, including BOMs, ECRs, and ECNs.
- Enhance products through design improvements and fixturing using 2D AutoCAD or similar software.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD or similar design software
- Experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of engineering documentation such as BOMs, ECRs, and ECNs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in product design improvements
- Process management skills
- Understanding of scientific methods and changing variables
Join a small company of about 40 employees, where you will be part of a collaborative team of 12 production staff, 8 QA members, and 2 engineers. The environment is laid-back, focused on getting the job done without micromanagement. Expect to spend 30-40% of your time on material disposition, another 30-40% on AutoCAD drawings, and the remaining time on problem-solving projects for process improvement. Work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with plenty of on-the-job training and opportunities to learn about government projects.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
