Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. You will work closely with a Physician, an Athletic Trainer, a Radiology Technologist, and an Office Manager to ensure the highest level of patient care and service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with blood draws.
- Complete H and H tests.
- Properly process blood samples for Ortho Ascent Kids.
- Clean and sterilize equipment.
- Transport samples efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients.
Essential Skills
- Phlebotomy experience (ideally 3 years).
- Proficient in blood draw techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Rad Tech certification is a plus.
- Current State of Iowa permit to practice.
Work Environment
The position is based in a professional healthcare setting. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, collaborating with a dedicated team to provide outstanding patient care.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
