As a Pharmacy Technician, you will primarily work within the mixing room, dedicating approximately 90% of your time to compounding medications upon receipt of orders. You will also be responsible for taking inventory of medications and supplies, placing orders for medication, and compounding chemo, some irons, and pre-medications, typically preparing 20-30 bags per day.

- 1-2 years of mixing experience (even a year is acceptable).
- Experience in pharmacy and IV compounding.

- Strong punctuality.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must hold a pharmacy tech license.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Experience in iron mixing, biologics handling, and drug dilution is advantageous.
The position operates Monday through Friday, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The work environment involves being the sole pharmacy technician on site, collaborating with a team of 5-7 nurses and technicians in a leading cancer treatment center. The setting offers a smaller, close-knit environment with opportunities for immediate feedback from management and potential for growth. The facility is part of a network that includes more than 90 cancer specialists, serving 23,000 new patients annually.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
