Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Technician/Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing pharmacy and warehouse duties, ensuring proper storage and handling of drugs and supplies, and supporting the shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including appropriate refrigeration of perishable products.
- Monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment as needed.
- Assist in filling dispensing units and preparation of order boxes.
- Create or correct shipping labels as necessary.
- Transport packages to shipping mail and courier services as required.
- Monitor prescription drug inventory within the pharmacy computer system.
- Receive inventory and ensure accurate product receipt.
- Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper storage of prescription drug inventory.
- Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing.
Essential Skills
- Experience in pharmacy, warehouse, and inventory management.
- High School Diploma or GED, or 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Capability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License or willingness to obtain licensure before hire.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be requested based on business needs but is not expected. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves a mix of pharmacy and warehouse environments.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.25/hr.
