Staff Pharmacist

Description:

The Pharmacist supports daily pharmacy operations by providing accurate drug screening, processing, and dispensing services. This role ensures safe, efficient medication distribution and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy workflow, production quotas, and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, DEA, and third‑party payer regulations
• Supervise production staff and maintain secure, efficient workflow
• Verify accuracy of new/refill orders, packaging, and labeling
• Prepare or oversee preparation of sterile IV products
• Assist in handling, documenting, and storing controlled substances; maintain Schedule II inventory
• Provide evening/weekend/holiday on‑call support as needed
• Clear workflow dashboards daily
• Follow HIPAA and departmental safety, attendance, and dress code guidelines
• Perform other assigned duties

This is a Contract position based out of Macon, GA.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $63.00/hr.
