Job Title: Pharmacist
The Pharmacist plays a crucial role in managing pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of drug products. This position requires accuracy and management skills to provide comprehensive drug screening and dispensing services, aligning with the pharmacy's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy, adhering to workflow, production quotas, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, and DEA policies.
- Supervise pharmacy production staff to maintain proper order entry, workflow, security, and delivery schedules.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders.
- Prepare and supervise the production of sterile IV drug products or solutions.
- Assist in ordering, handling, receiving, documenting, and storing controlled substances, maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
- Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled on-call rotations as required.
- Clear workflow dashboard daily.
- Adhere to government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Comply with departmental policies on safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state of Massachusetts
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacist in retail or specialty pharmacy environment.
Schedule:
330pm-12am Mon-Fri with Rotting weekends and holidays (will be first shift scheudle)
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marlborough, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
