What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Associate position at Actalent?
We are hiring for a Quality Assurance role here in the New Albany area! This is a long-term career opportunity and the role will primarily be performing batch record review in a highly regulated environment. You will also be performing some inspections of the pharmaceutical products and raw materials to ensure everything matches up to the batch records, and may assist with implementing any corrective and preventative actions for any consistent issues that arise.

This will mainly include reviewing batch records of all commercial batches labelled and packed onsite, but may assist with other related quality projects as needed. You will work in a climate controlled cleanroom and GMP regulated environment.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance and support to Production staff regarding compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Monitor GMP operations and quality systems in device assembly and packaging areas.
- Act as a first point of contact in case of production queries (quality related) during packaging and labeling operations
- Review and approve batch production records and other GMP documentation in support of daily operations.
- Perform finished product checks during production runs
- Compile and review batch records for lots assembled, packaged and labeled at AOH in preparation for batch disposition.
- Own, review, and approve controlled documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and Forms.
- Review and approve Deviation, CAPA, and Change Control records.
- Adhering to safety rules and maintaining a safe work environment for both yourself and others
