What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Screener position at Actalent?
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Screener to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to further their career in clinical research, particularly in oncology. You will have the chance to be trained at an NCI-designated Cancer Center, working closely with some of the best Principal Investigators in the field.
Responsibilities- Obtain consent from every patient who walks in for speaking about research study availability.
- Share patient data and information with Principal Investigators (PIs) and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) to ensure they are aware of eligible patients for ongoing studies.
- Assist in entering data accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Strong data entry skills.
- Familiarity with working in a healthcare setting that performs clinical research.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
