Patient Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Recruitment Specialist to implement and manage patient recruitment strategies across assigned clinical trials. The role involves screening and pre-qualifying potential participants based on study inclusion/exclusion criteria, coordinating with study coordinators and investigators to schedule visits, and supporting enrollment workflows. Accurate documentation of recruitment activities in compliance with GCP and sponsor requirements is essential.

• Implement and manage patient recruitment strategies for clinical trials.
• Screen and pre-qualify potential participants based on study criteria.
• Coordinate with study coordinators and investigators to schedule visits.
• Support enrollment workflows and maintain accurate documentation.
• Utilize an internal database to review patient medical records.
• Use 'work bench reports' to screen patients according to criteria.
• Engage with patients primarily over the phone.
• Assist in creating patient visit calendars and scheduling for the CRC team.

• Prior experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or equivalent role preferred.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable working directly with patients and handling biological samples.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for sample transport.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on patient visit schedules and study demands. The role offers flexible scheduling as long as the required hours and patient visits are covered. The position is based at Health Campus, Suite G500, Sacramento, CA. We prioritize work-life balance and aim to limit work hours to ensure this balance is maintained.

This is a Contract position based out of Sacramento, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
