We are seeking a skilled ophthalmic photographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining patient history, conducting visual acuity tests, and ensuring efficient patient flow in collaboration with other clinical staff. This role involves performing OCTs, OCTAs, IVFA, and ICGs, as well as maintaining accurate records and taking fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.
Responsibilities- Obtain and document patient history and visual acuity tests.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow.
- Perform OCTs, OCTAs, IVFA, and ICGs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and imaging results.
- Capture fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.
- Proficiency in photography and fundus photography.
- Knowledge of OCTs and ophthalmology.
- Strong computer skills.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role.
- CPR Certification or willingness to obtain it.
- COA, OCT-C, CRA certifications are preferred.
This role operates within a fast-paced clinic environment, with shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs. Initial training will take place at the admin building in the Galleria. The home clinic is located in Bellaire, one of the busiest clinics in Houston, where you will work most of the time. Occasionally, you may need to support other clinics in Cypress, Katy, and Sugarland, with advance scheduling provided. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel to clinics beyond these three locations. The clinic sees 80-100 patients per day and requires navy blue scrubs, with short, groomed nails and hair tied back. You will be part of a team of 8-24 individuals, each supporting a physician.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
