Ophthalmic Assistant

Immediate Hiring for "Ophthalmic Assistant" in San Antonio, TX

*Must be located Closer to San Antonio, TX*

Job Description:

• Document physician visits in the EMR system.
• Assist with medical instruments as needed by physicians.
• Conduct work-ups after doctor visits with patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and treatments.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Ophthalmic experience is Mandatory
• Associate OR B.S. in Science in (Chemistry OR Biology OR Biochemistry) is Mandatory
• Knowledge of Ophthalmology and Nextgen systems is Preferred
• Experience in medical assisting and patient care is Preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Converse, TX.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
