What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician position at Two Rivers Eye Care?
Our optometric practice in New Braunfels is accepting applications for a full time experienced individual with a preferred background as a medical assistant/technician to join our team.

This is what you will learn : - To take comprehensive medical and ophthalmic history, visual acuity, pupil assessment, confrontation fields, tonometry, working with contact lenses, lensometry, frame styling, frame measurements, insurance billing along with various other office tasks as assigned. Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

You must consistently provide quality patient care and excellent customer service, have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and supervisors. The starting pay range begins @ $16/hour depending on your experience plus a potential shared team bonus after a 90 day probationary period -
