Job Description

Looking for a Nutrition Chemist with strong background in GCMS, LECO, UV-Vis and Grava, Metric Analysis! Ideally from Nutrition Chemist setting, or 3 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills

• GC-MS experience would be beneficial
• LECO experience would be beneficial (protein analysis)
• A strong working knowledge of wet chemistry (titrations, etc.)
• Experience in Grava-metric analysis (analysis by weighing stuff – moisture would be a good example of that)
• UV-Vis Experience (Absorbance equation)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good observational skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Good writing skills (as they head into SOPs) – technical writing skills
• Good math skills

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced analytical laboratory environment, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. Join a team of six chemists, reporting to the Lab Manager. This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $56000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portland,OR.
