Job Description
Looking for a Nutrition Chemist with strong background in GCMS, LECO, UV-Vis and Grava, Metric Analysis! Ideally from Nutrition Chemist setting, or 3 years of relevant experience.
Essential Skills
- GC-MS experience would be beneficial
- LECO experience would be beneficial (protein analysis)
- A strong working knowledge of wet chemistry (titrations, etc.)
- Experience in Grava-metric analysis (analysis by weighing stuff – moisture would be a good example of that)
- UV-Vis Experience (Absorbance equation)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Good observational skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Good writing skills (as they head into SOPs) – technical writing skills
- Good math skills
Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced analytical laboratory environment, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. Join a team of six chemists, reporting to the Lab Manager.
