Responsibilities- Conduct various quality tests such as metal analysis, salt content, fat content, microbiology, oxygen analysis, liquid analysis, pH test, and butter content.
- Perform milk plating and analyze results.
- Run tests to detect bacteria in products.
- Identify quality issues and communicate them to production and relevant personnel in the lab.
- Conduct floor checks on one-hour cycles.
- Address quality concerns with production workers constructively.
- Work continuously in a fast-paced environment.
- Compile necessary quality reports.
- Log results and findings accurately.
- Experience in laboratory work and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of wet chemistry and microbiology.
- Understanding of FDA regulations.
- Skills in quality control, particularly within the food industry.
- Familiarity with titration and food production processes.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, especially in Biology.
- Open to candidates with comparable work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Completion of a microbiology course or lab experience is advantageous.
- Experience with micro plating for APC/coliform yeast and mold is a plus.
You will work 75% of the time on the production floor and 25% at a desk. Be prepared to work six days a week, with shifts ranging from 9-10 hours. The role involves working in both a lab and production floor setting within a fast-paced environment that offers opportunities for growth and pay increases.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
