Medical Assistant (Lead)
The Medical Assistant Lead plays a crucial role in assisting the Practice Manager with overseeing the daily clinical operations for offices with less than 4.5 clinicians and fewer than 6 team members. This role ensures that the team delivers quality, team-based patient care under the direct supervision of clinicians, both clinically and administratively, to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. The position supports clinicians and care management teams in the maintenance of chronic disease management and the examination and treatment of the pediatric patient population. The Medical Assistant Lead is also responsible for leading and supervising team members and assisting with performance evaluations.
Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma required
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting
- Active BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
- 2 years as a PA Medical Assistant preferred
- MA Certification preferred
- Medical foreign doctors must have a Bachelor of Science degree in General Medicine from a regionally accredited university or equivalent
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite in a pediatric primary care clinic located in Hollywood, FL. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, and every other Saturday from 7:45 AM to 12:00 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $40000.00/yr.
