Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team, providing essential back-office support in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The role involves working Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the responsibility of ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care.

Will get paid for .70 per a mile.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
• Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures by standing and taking notes.
• Maintain all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Answer patient telephone calls for referral to physician, nurse, or pharmacist.
• Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN.
• Inform physicians of patient reschedules and no-shows.
• Perform other administrative duties, such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception, as requested by the supervisor or physician.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
