Mechanical Project Manager

Join a leading mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, pumps, piping, and boiler systems. Our projects span diverse sectors, including healthcare and industrial, with current undertakings at prominent sites in Omaha. We seek a Mechanical Project Manager who excels in commissioning, document controls, contract administration, and material and equipment purchasing. Your role will ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Specialize in commissioning and document controls.
• Oversee contract administration and pre-construction estimate reviews.
• Coordinate material and equipment purchasing.
• Facilitate effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Manage change orders and requests for information (RFIs).

• 3-5 years of experience in project management within the mechanical HVAC/piping/plumbing sector.
• Degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Procore.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, piping, and boiler systems.

• Recent experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager on commercial job sites.
• Experience with general and industrial construction.

The role primarily involves working onsite at large construction sites. Smaller projects may require office work and site visits. The office is equipped with modern technology and promotes streamlined team communication. The company is family and employee-owned, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture with around 60 people onsite and 20 in the office. Dress code includes work boots, jeans, and appropriate shirts. Typical working hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
