Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of custom automation equipment and robotic systems. This role is ideal for a early‑career engineer eager to gain hands‑on experience working alongside senior engineers on real‑world industrial automation projects from concept through build and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
-Assist in the mechanical design of custom automation equipment, robotic cells, fixtures, and machine assemblies
-Create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies in SolidWorks
-Support engineering documentation including bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and revision control
-Collaborate with electrical, controls, and production teams during system development and build
-Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
-Assist with prototype builds, troubleshooting, and on‑site equipment support as needed
-Follow engineering standards, safety requirements, and internal design best practices
