Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable Process Engineer with strong technical and analytical skills and a proven ability to execute effectively under aggressive timelines. This role will support the introduction and production ramp of two new products at their manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in process engineering, with experience spanning early‑stage prototype builds through production‑level assembly. Success in this role requires comfort in a fast‑paced environment driven by rapid scaling and evolving priorities.

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent
• Proficiency with MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
• 5 years of experience in mechanical or process engineering roles
• Experience designing mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processes
• Hands‑on experience with rapid prototype assembly
• Experience in both prototype and production manufacturing environments
• Experience with production tooling
• Project management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of quality control and process validation methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO‑based quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Strong analytical, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑solving skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience using Agile methodologies for PLM
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
• Mechanical stack‑up analysis experience
• Structural load analysis knowledge
• Familiarity with engineering project management tools such as JIRA, Agile, or similar systems

This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
