Key Responsibilities - Provide design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly (DFM/DFA) input for new product development - Define and optimize assembly processes, including materials, tooling, fixturing, CNC/machining interfaces, testing, workflow, and cost - Support prototype builds and lead transition from prototype to full production - Troubleshoot and resolve slip ring assembly and production process issues - Develop and maintain work instructions, standard work, and assembly documentation - Support continuous improvement and Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost, and safety - Prepare capital equipment justifications for tooling, fixtures, and production equipment - Support quality documentation (e.g., PFMEA) and close assigned actions - Manage multiple manufacturing engineering priorities with strong execution and communication
